Clickbank skeezes me out.
Yeah… now I remember why I never used the affiliate account I used to have there. It hasn’t changed much.
We wrote an email to this guy who is selling something called The Powerseller Assassin. It’s like a machine gun that Joe the eBayer can use to “eliminate the competition” from the elite, secretive group on eBay known as Power Sellers. I bet you never even realized they were out to get you.
Here’s the email:
First: if I get an automated response to this inquiry that tries to disguise itself as a personal message, I will not pursue your opportunity any further.
Now for the questions:Is your wholesale source of consumer electronics legal, and can you provide me with some proof that the merchandise has not been stolen and fenced? If you want to secure a sale from me, I will need that proof first.
The copyright date on your landing page is 2007. Is all of your information up to date for 2009?
I suppose the copyright date also means that either your “introductory” price of $37 has expired, or that it is actually the ongoing list price for the product. Is the full price still $37, with no hidden or added costs?
You have impressive marketing talent, and I would guess that the Powerseller Assassin is selling very well. But some of your “killer tactics,” as you call them, may cause you to lose the respect of potential buyers and affiliates who make business decisions rationally.
I’m sure there are many others like me who are immune to any and all marketing strategies that attempt to act on our most primitive survival mechanisms of fear and anger.
Best regards,
Sage
